Hosted and also sponsored by Design Within Reach - Southlake, the Puma Shoe Design Competition is meant to bring awareness to innovative and individuality in design.
The design competition is focused on the Puma 80’s classic RS-100 sneaker. Would be shoe designers can log onto www.mongolianshoebbq.puma.com to create their masterpiece and unique shoe. Patrons can choose from more than 30 precut materials. Colors, textures leathers and meshes – the options are plentiful.
After the shoe design is complete, it can be entered into the Puma Shoe Design Competition. Three winners will be selected at the July 27th event held at Design Within Reach – Southlake. Winners will have the opportunity to have their design produced – a one of a kind shoe- as well as receive various Puma accessories, and a Design Within Reach horizontal shoe rack.
Representatives of 1in3Trinity will be on hand at the July 27th winners reveal serving the first faith inspired energy drink.

The benefit weekend ran from April 20th – 22nd at Dallas Market Hall, and was kicked off as the red carpet was rolled out for the Invisible Children Friday Night Party. Director Laren Poole hosted the evening and provided a special screening of the film, Invisible Children. Following the film, The David Ramirez Band, Josh Jenkins of Green River Ordinance, and Radiant took the stage. Other acts that preformed this weekend in support of Invisible Children included Burlap to Cashmere, Andy Davis, Phil Keaggy, and Jars of Clay.
